Des petites entreprises, des syndicats, des organisations commerciales et des organisations \u00e0 but non lucratif ont uni leurs efforts pour former une nouvelle coalition sur les courses de chevaux, baptis\u00e9e We Are NY Horse Racing. L'alliance sera d\u00e9sormais charg\u00e9e d'informer la population locale sur l'importance de l'industrie des courses hippiques pour l'\u00c9tat. La coalition b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie du soutien de tout l'\u00c9tat, de nombreux restaurants et h\u00f4tels l'ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 soutenue.<\/p>\n

Le secteur des courses de chevaux de l'\u00c9tat de New York comprend de nombreuses d\u00e9mographies et professions diff\u00e9rentes, y compris des emplois saisonniers \u00e0 temps partiel et des postes directement li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'industrie. Selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l'American Horse Council en 2018, l'industrie de l'\u00c9tat est responsable de plus de 19 000 emplois et de plus de $3 milliards de dollars de retomb\u00e9es \u00e9conomiques annuelles.<\/p>\n

Les membres fondateurs de la coalition sont NYRA, \u00e9leveurs de pur-sang de New York<\/strong>, Le Fonds d'organisation des travailleurs de l'\u00c9tat de New York, la Long Island Contractors Association, la Chambre de commerce du comt\u00e9 de Saratoga, le New York Farm Bureau, le Saratoga Casino and Hotel, les restaurants DZ, la Belmont Child Care Association et bien d'autres encore. Selon elle, le secteur des courses de chevaux est instrumentale pour ses installations de restauration<\/strong> \u00e0 Saratoga, et elle pense que sans elle, aucune entreprise locale ne pourra survivre. Elle se dit heureuse de participer \u00e0 la coalition et \u00e0 ses futurs projets.<\/p>\n

Rencontre d'\u00e9t\u00e9 2021<\/h2>\n

Cet \u00e9t\u00e9, les amateurs de courses hippiques ont eu l'occasion d'assister \u00e0 la 153e r\u00e9union d'\u00e9t\u00e9 au Saratoga Race Course. Cette rencontre de 40 jours rev\u00eat une importance consid\u00e9rable pour le sport et l'\u00c9tat et, malgr\u00e9 les mauvaises conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques et les effets encore durables d'une situation sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, le meeting d'\u00e9t\u00e9 a tout de m\u00eame b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d'une grande popularit\u00e9. l'int\u00e9r\u00eat et le succ\u00e8s<\/a>.
