According to the information disclosed, Gateway Casinos is planning to introduce the new gaming facility in the Pinewood Park Drive area. The developer has provided the necessary extensive planning for the future location which indicates that the projected investment in the region could reach to up to CA$24 million. Such a project is set to significantly elevate the region’s performance and appeal to players from near and far, as well as boost the local economy.

The potential land lot dedicated for the future project amounts to some 7 acres which are enough space for a substantial venue providing a wide array of gaming and more family-friendly offerings. Following months of conversations with the Ministry of Transportation regarding the future project, September brought the news that the casino operator has shifted its focus on another more suitable parcel of land.
Too many complications led to the eventual scrapping of the plans and the search for a new potential land lot.
