Another visually stunning creation from the visionaries at Big Time Gaming studios, White Rabbit dives into the original storybook and ever so slightly sources its inspiration from animated movies and motion pictures themed on Alice in Wonderland to present a fine video slot game, as flamboyant as possible.

You may have to go down the rabbit hole for some free spins and marvellous prizes, but without taking a risk you can’t accomplish anything, really. Look at Alice – she was bold and imaginative enough to lift the entire Wonderland on its feet.

Now it’s your turn to explore the wonders of this fictional universe and seize some of its riches for yourself. Along the way you will meet strange creatures, some will be your friends and some won’t, but the rewards will be yours for the taking. White Rabbit was released in 2017, and has since been available at casinos that accept Canadian players.

Theme and Symbols

The adventures you will experience in White Rabbit are based on an 1865 novel written by an English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. It is called Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and tells the story of a curious and brave girl named Alice that falls through a rabbit hole and finds herself in a fantasy world with peculiar creatures.

Popular with adults just as much as it is with children, Alice’s story enjoys lasting popularity and has been through many adaptations, reimagined through various mediums. White Rabbit is one of them, a video slot machine bringing the original characters and their colourful surroundings on screen again.

Launching the game, you will access Wonderland and meet with the Caterpillar on the side of the reels. Strange plants and mushrooms will fill the screen and the semi-transparent reel set will assume centre position. The fairy-tale appearance adds to the visual impression and one’s imagination is sure to blow up as soon as the first spin is executed.

The symbols on the reels are borrowed from the novel – you will see the Mad Hatter, Dodo, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and the Cheshire Cat, as well as the symbols of a teapot and cups all stacked up and prepared for the tea party of a lifetime.

The symbol of the Queen of Hearts pays the most, and there are also icons of three precious gems found on the paytable page. But, where is the White Rabbit? The White Rabbit plays the role of the Scatter symbol, whereas Alice’s reflection in the glass represents the Wild. There’s one more symbol, a surprise symbol, the cupcake, which appears exclusively during the main bonus feature.

Structure and Playability

Just like the story itself, the White Rabbit slot is extraordinary, especially in its structure. It is a 5-reel game with an equal number of rows, and it offers an insane number of ways to win. In the base game, there are 16,807 ways to strike a prize, whereas in the Extended Reels feature there can be as much as 248,832 winning combinations!

This is a result of the Big Time Gaming’s trademark MegaWays™ system. The Wild symbol is a substitution and it appears on all the reels except the first one.

It is easy to get started in White Rabbit, as the entry-level bet is quite low. The size of the bet is adjusted in the lower left corner where the arrows for the Stake section are located. The big Play button is in the opposite corner, right next to the Autoplay button. Instead of the Gamble feature, a more common in-built addition, White Rabbit comes complete with a Feature Drop bonus which needs to be bought for the right amount.

The Feature Drop enables you to buy a Free Spins round if you can’t wait for it to be triggered in the usual way. It costs 100 times your stake to activate the Feature Drop, but it is also possible to decrease that amount if you manage to collect Feature Drop Golden Coins. If you’re lucky, the price may reach 0 and the free spins will be activated automatically.

ending Reels feature active throughout. During this bonus round, every reel can be expanded up to 12 positions. This is when the cupcakes step onto the scene – each cupcake that lands adds one more cell to that reel.

During free spins, reels that contain 12 cells will also accommodate the special Queen’s Reel feature, meaning that only the Queen of Hearts symbols and Wilds will land on them, increasing the chances for huge payouts.

Every player should know that the Free Spins in White Rabbit can be retriggered up to 5 times. Theoretically, is possible to win as much as 75 free spins like this. Let us remind you that, thanks to the Extending Reels, there are 248,832 ways to win in play here. And also, the Feature Drop is always there to speed things up if you have some credits to spare.

More about White Rabbit

As demanding as it is, visually, White Rabbit runs surprisingly well on all mobile devices. All the teeny tiny details are crispy clear on both smartphones and tablets, so you can carry your little Wonderland with you wherever you go.

White Rabbit has plenty of extra features, the main one being Free Spins. The mere fact that Feature Drop is included should indicate that triggering the round the standard way won’t be easy. White Rabbit does come with an extremely high return to player, though, amounting up to 97.72%. The volatility is in the medium/high range.

Final Verdict

White Rabbit stays true to the original material; still, it delivers a superb design and graphics. The combination of innovative and engaging features yields an incredibly enjoyable experience, not to mention the game’s potential for massive payouts.

Arguably, White Rabbit is one of the best video slot machines on the market, and Canadian online casino players are lucky to have it at their disposal. Similar theme and gameplay can be found in iSoftbet’s Alice Adventure and WMS’ The Cheshire Cat, for example.
